“I recently bought the FireEye 2.0. I have a Lightning F-40 recumbent that I am using for brevets and very fast commuting.
It is a “smooth” bike with nothing to mount a light on, so I bought the Fire Eye after reading Bryan Balls review over on bentrideronline.com
Anyway, I rode a 200K in the heaviest rains I could imagine. Thunder, Lightning (Close!) , high winds, small hail and more rain for about 60 miles straight. I had several people comment afterward how bright the lights were.
They proved to be as waterproof as I could ask for!”

“I received my Fire Eye yesterday which was just in time to take it on vacation.
Although I ride in daylight I set the unit to strobe and was astonished that cars gave me a wider cushion as they went by and far fewer drivers tried to go around me while opposing traffic was present.
As far as I’m concerned, Fire Eye is a winner!”
